I had the pleasure of working with Paul last year on a development programme for Renault Retail Group (UK). Having known Paul for many years it was incredibly refreshing to see that the professional Paul and personal Paul are indeed the same. I attended one of Paul’s inspirational talks called “How to Fly High - Cleared for Take off” as part of a team building day with the large corporate company I was working for at the time.

I was very skeptical about listening to someone explain how to change your life, your outlook, take a good look at oneself and change because I am well passed my “career ladder”. I have already achieved everything I thought wanted to. My job was interesting enough and there was nothing to change…or so I thought.

Yet, three months following the talk, I have now completed a transition and made massive changes. I come to realise I wasn’t happy. I was having difficulties getting up in the morning because I was unable to find anything positive to look forward to.

Then, Paul's words started to come to mind, about “Flying High’ and how we all deserve to “Soar like an Eagle”. By comparison,  I felt grounded, overwhelmed and didn't know what to do.

So, I applied what Paul told me. As a result, I actually re-discovered my self-belief and have found a new level of personal power. I applied for a new, exciting and challenging position with another company. I stood on the edge of the comfort zone that Paul talked about and took a leap of faith leading to literally ‘Flying High’!

I was flown to a foreign country for the interview, the following week, I received news that I have the job with a Private Jet Company, given Paul uses a lot of aviation metaphor in his talk, I think this is rather apt! Now, I have my passion back. I am excited for the future, I look forward to going to work again, I feel challenged and love what I do. Truly, I have a new appreciation for Paul and his work.

Paul is a gentleman, he has some amazing stories to tell of his own struggles, challenges and how to overcome them. Each time life kicked him down, he stood back up, shook it off, started again and took the next step forward.

His philosophy teaches that you can change your circumstances when you change your mind set and the only person that can do that is YOU.

If it wasn’t for Paul and his words of inspiration, his enthusiasm for getting the best out of people, his ability to make his audience feel that they themselves can be the change they need to see, I would still be stuck’.

Today I am truly “flying high’, I am soaring like a bird, head held high, enjoying the change. I would highly recommend Paul for your next event if you want your teams, or staff to find their passion and enthusiasm again.
