History
PB started corporate training in 2001 when he wrote and delivered corporate training courses for ISO Quality and Information Security management systems as the certified course author and global trainer for the 'British Standards Institution (BSI)*. Alongside corporate training, our consulting expertise identified opportunities for improving and implementing streamlined processes, policies and procedures to enable clients' vision and mission and simultaneously maximise efficiency, and effectiveness, deliver high levels of consistency and customer satisfaction through well-managed quality and information security management practices. - All certified to International ISO standards.
Sadly, over time, it became apparent that too many organisations invested heavily to acquire ISO certification for marketing purposes only while paying lip service to their most important resource - Their Human Resource - 'People'!
This situation was unacceptable to us. We knew that even the most robust and seamless system of well-defined processes and procedures makes little difference to the end-user (the client's customers) when the staff that use them are under-resourced, improperly trained, stressed, overwhelmed, or demotivated.
Our passion at the outset was to improve business management in a way that would make significant positive changes within the organisation for the organisation too and, in turn, help make life at work more manageable, more enjoyable and a place in which staff can take their whole selves to work instead of hanging their soul in a locker with their coat!
This passion and commitment - to making inspired and empowered positive changes - was the genesis of the 'PB Inspired' suite of soft-skills and leadership training programs created to complement, enrich and enhance the existing business management consultancy service.
